Consider the Lilies Foundation Represented at the
Second Annual Show Me Healthy Missouri Cancer Summit
Penny Rice and Doe Rungert presented an Exhibit for Consider the Lilies Foundation at the Summit which was held March 29 – 30th at the Lodge of the Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Hundreds of nurses, clinicians and other professional participants received business cards, brochures, and other informational handouts at our Exhibit Booth. Penny and Doe also modeled the new T-Shirts that are now available to anyone who wants to share the message of Consider the Lilies Foundation.
Cancer patient Susie Hoffman
designed and prints the shirts. They are perfect for the cancer patient,
cancer survivor or even friends and family! We are asking for a donation to
the Foundation of $15 for each shirt. The shirts are pale pink and have red
lilies with red, green and gold glitter accents. We have them in Medium, Large
and Extra-Large and will special order other sizes. On the back of the shirt,
it says:
Jesus said in Matthew 6:28, “Consider the Lilies of the field, how they grow.” The lilies of Palestine persist, grow & thrive even though they are trodden down by those who pass through the fields. God Himself is their Gardener who causes them to persevere and become exquisitely beautiful with their heads held high. It is to Him that we who are trodden down by cancer can look for the strength to persevere & flourish as beautiful lilies for all to see.
